Heart Wise Info Session

Heart Wise is a free, three-hour group session offered by Alberta Health Services. Nutrition and Food Services professionals will share their expertise and guide interactive discussions that can help individuals manage their heart health. Registration is required as date and time are subject to change. 1st Annual Didsbury Musher Clinic and Campout

September 22 - 24

Melvin Hall west of Didsbury

The Didsbury Dogsled Derby is kicking off your season with this informative, fun event. Topics will include training plans, race strategy, nutrition, canine massage, handling, and wilderness safety. Plus, you'll really enjoy the QandA panel discussion and "Tales of the Trail" with some of the country's top mushers, set around the campfire. Registration is Friday evening and continues Saturday morning. There will also be a Handler Workshop on Saturday afternoon. Cost is $50 a person or $75 a couple. Pay by cash or cheque when you come. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. Free camping at the hall (no RV hookups). Potluck Barbeque Saturday night. Remember, Race date is set for January 6th and 7th, 2018. Harvest Dance

Botha Old Tyme Dance Club's next dance theme will be Harvest and/or Hard Times.  We have a great band from Leduc called the "Old Time Aires" to play music in the beautifuly decorated Botha Community Hall. Dressing for the theme will be fun, several theme related door prizes. As always, there is a huge delicious potluck lunch of buns, sandwiches, salads, and desserts, contributed from all the attendees, served at 5pm. Admission is $25 per couple, and chaperoned children under 18 are free! This is a "Family Friendly Event" with NO alcohol. All ages and dance skills are welcome. Three Hills & District Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament

The Chamber is proud to host a “for fun” golf tournament. A quick 9 holes followed by dinner, beverages, and some prizes. Prizes may or may not include cars, boats, trips, dream homes, Flames tickets, golf balls, cheese burgers, or gift certificates.You certainly don’t have to be an avid golfer, just an excuse to wander around for the afternoon with some good company.You can submit a team or individually.  Don’t have any friends? Ignite Your Spark Youth Fair

Sparks are the hidden flames in youth that light their potential fire and tap into their true passions.


2nd Annual Downtown Pop-Up Arts & Culture Showcase

This event is 100% free and family friendly. 
Multiple "pop-up" stops in Downtown Drumheller will feature a variety of artists creating art pieces or having them on display. Lothar the Magician will be performing along with some musical talent; we'll have free children's crafts and activities in the Navy League building and in 3rd Avenue Arts as well as sidewalk chalking in front of the Badlands Gallery and Ateliero Verda (weather permitting).


Alberta Culture Days Pop-Up
